Warner Truman , the third richest man in the world and CEO of Truman Enterprises. puts his heart and soul in to his business and protects it with his entire being. As hes had to do with his wallet as well. After all thats all woman seem to see when the look at him. That is until he stumbles across Tabby Brill.
Taddy and Warner met by your classic case of mistaken identity The both of them are Completely captivated by each others presence almost instantly. However after a simple miss understanding the two parted ways. Tabby went back to her usual I don't need no one to complete me ways. Where as Warner on the other hand refused to give on the one woman that's peeked his interest in years.
The universe hadnt given up on them either. Reconnectintg in the most unlikely place. But where they were didnt matter to Warner. Now that she was back in his life he vowed hed do whatever he had to in order to keep her there.
With their reunion going smoothly Taddy and Warner cant keep there hands off each other. But just as it seems things are going well Taddys past come back to bite her in the butt. Forced to face them head on Warner reminds her shes no longer alone.
But will that be enough for Taddy to move on with Warner together.. will she completely let him in.. mind body and soul??
I enjoyed this story. I've read so many books where the leading woman is weak and unaware of her self worth its so refreshing to read about a woman who's very in tune with her sexuality and could careless what others think of her.One of the other things i loved most about this book was contains alot of sweet quotes and sayings two of my favorites are
"Its good for a woman to fantasize- keeps the juices flowing "
"For wisdom is more precious than rubies, and nothing you deserve can compare with her"
That last one.. that's just beautiful isn't it??
Unscrupulous is if nothing else a beautiful heart wrenching love story.
Warner is a different kinda alpha male very sweet and impossible not to love but also rough when and where he needs to be.... if only men that actually existed the world would be a much better place.. lol
