They say, once a hero always a hero and nothing could be more true for Jimmy. When Jimmy receives a call from an unknown number, he wastes no time in saving the damsel in distress.
Emma has made one bad decision after another. When a man 20 years older than her saves her from her latest bad decision, she wants to stay safely wrapped around him.
When the world throws them together then rips them apart, they must decide if what they feel is worth taking a chance on.
I really enjoyed this book, it had heartbreak, action and love. And hotness. It goes to show you can get over anything when you find the one person you love.

I loved Jimmy, he is loyal, smart and friendly. He helps everyone out, and is always there for everyone.

I loved Emma, she is smart, sassy and funny. She seems to always get in trouble, but she learns her lesson, and changes her ways.

I recommend this book and series.

Raised all over the country, I'm a interesting mix of East Coast meets West Coast with a little bit of Southern thrown in, just for good measure. I married a sexy man in uniform who let me spawn and am now raising a mutinous army of hell raisers that I created myself, all while he defends our country. I drink too much coffee until it's late enough to drink too much wine and am sexually frustrated for your freedom. If you see me online, I'm probably sitting in a closet, hiding from my kids.

Fluent in sarcasm, Supernatural, and song lyrics, I like talking to people and finding what makes them tick, though that probably has to do with the Psychology degree. I’m up before the sun because my kids don’t sleep, chugging tea and coffee to keep my eyes open and my brain semi functional. Being married to a man in uniform means I’ve lived a lot of places, survived seeing my husband for half the amount of time I’ve been married, and spent a lot of time raising my kids alone.
I love to write messed up psychos with lots of angst, happily ever afters that have to be worked for. Women with sass and backbone, men with a twisted hero complex and the need to control are my favorite to read as well as write.

Blue’s life is in shambles.

He has to fight off his MC brotherhood on a drug problem threatening his town, balance his time as a father while dealing with a vicious custody battle with his ex, and somehow manage the huge load of responsibilities of his job.  All the while, he is fighting his attraction to the quiet shopkeeper who lives just across the street from him.  The last thing he wants is to take her down with him.

Psalm’s life is uneventful.

Finally healed after the heartache of losing her husband, kind-souled Psalm throws herself into her store and rescuing dogs. Her crush on Blue can be traced back to high school so many years ago, and even after being widowed, she still carries a torch for him.  From the sidelines, she aches for Blue and his children. With her caring nature, she reaches out to him, over and over again, even when he pushes her away. Is Psalm’s heart strong enough to take on this broken man and heal him?

This is one of those “it’s not quit an MC book” since Blue is not actually in the MC, but he is the son of the President so close enough? Maybe. If you’ve read books 1 and 2, (and I highly recommend that you do) you know Blue and his ex-wife have a rocky relationship, we find out all the dirty little details in this book. We also learn some interesting facts about soap making. Not a ton of sex, but that’s ok. I absolutely love all the different points of view in this book, it really adds to the depth of the story. 4.5 stars and bring on Table.

I've had stories in my head since I was a child.  All sorts of stories of fantasy, romance, mystery and anything else that captured my interest.  I'm a voracious reader, and have spent many hours in my life devouring books, therefore it's only fitting I should write a few myself!

I've spent most of my life as a performing musician and band instrument repair technician, but that doesn't mean I'm pigeon-holed into one mold.  I've been a university professor, belly dancer, craftsperson, soap maker, singer, rock band artist, jewelry maker, lifeguard, swim coach, and whatever else I feel like exploring.  As one of my students said to me once, "Life's too short to ignore the opportunities."   I have no intention of ever stopping so welcome to my story world.  I hope you enjoy it!
