Holy hotness this author knows how to write a steamy sex scene. Part one of One Night In Paradise is about Erika, a newly divorced thirty-eight year old. She and her friend Alicia decided to spend a week in Miami to relax and celebrate. Nick is a thirty-eight year old musician playing at the bar Erika and Alicia go for their last night. The sparks fly when their eyes meet. I thoroughly enjoyed this short story and look forward to the next one. I give this story 4 stars with 4 hands down the pants.

This part of the story is from Nick’s point of view. Four months later and Nick hasn’t been able to stop thinking about Erika. His band has been offered the opening act slot on a tour. The tour just so happens to take them to Chicago. Nick cannot believe his excitement and nerves at the thought of seeing Erika again. Will she be happy to see him? Has she started dating someone since she’s been home? Nick can’t wait to find out. Once again, Ms. Metal turns the heat up and gives her readers some steamy sex scenes. I give this story 4 stars with 4 hands down the pants. And now I’m off to read One Night In Paradise III.

As we now know Nick and Erika have decided to see where this thing between them can go, but how do you sustain a relationship when one person is traveling the country and even if he weren’t they live in different states. Erika is offered a job opportunity in New York, with nothing keeping her in Chicago she decides to go. What will happen when she’s working long hours in a strange city with an extremely sexy boss who happens to find extremely attractive? This book is written multiple points of view which I LOVE. It also contains steamy sex and VERY interesting possibilities. I CANNOT wait to read the next part! I give this book 4 stars with 4 hands down the pants.

Donna's Thoughts:

The conclusion of this story had some twists and turns. I was sure it was heading one way, but sadly I was wrong. Erika is now torn between two men she cares deeply about and is not sure what to do. May I suggest a ménage relationship? It’s not like Nike and Neil haven’t done this before right? This was a good ending to this sexy, fun story. The right choices, although maybe not what I would have thought I wanted to see, were made and in the end they all live happily ever after. I give this portion 4 stars with 3 hands down the pants.
