Now that Emily Cooper has walked away from her first love, she finds herself running toward her only love. Unraveling fast, but clinging to hope, Emily risks all she has left on the man that has consumed her every thought and dream since the day they met. Will Gavin take her back? And if so, will their reunion be a collision of two hearts destined to complete one another and rekindle a love that knew no boundaries? Or will scars from their past rip open, tearing slowly at what each of them was meant to be? Can fate, the ultimate game changer, mend the shattered road it laid out from the start?
Only time will tell…
Tick-Tock…
Pulse picks up exactly where Collide left off. And i have to say my pulse was racing with in the first few pages of the book and it continued through out the entire book. Gail McHugh sure did keep us on our toes with this one. One of my favorite quotes from Emily
"216 hours of feeling dead... 12960 minutes of feeling lost... 777, 600 seconds of feeling completely numb..." |
Then there's Emily who finally opens her eyes an see Dillion for the douchebag he really and for once in her life stands up to him. As a woman who's been in that type of relationship before, I was very proud of her! But of course he didn't let go that easily. Emily made a few mistakes along the way all in the name of love, and she quickly learned she has to face all her problems head on.
Pulse continues on and every thing seems to be going well for both Emily and Gavin until there hit with one bomb shell after another and it seems that there's no happy ending in site for either of them. But in the end no matter what's thrown in their way... love always finds a way...
Pulse is the book to read this summer!! If you haven't read collide yet start there first! If love romance novels you'll absolutely love this series!! a whopping ★★★★★ for this series
