The Dead Presidents MC is a group of veterans who have banded together to form a brother hood much like what they all had in the service. Hound had intended to be a lifer in the Air Force, but two brutal accidents left him barley able to walk let alone serve. The excruciating pain he is constantly in left him dependent on pain meds, to the point he is addicted. Fresh out of rehab and newly taken in by the Dead Presidents MC, Hound is living day to day and needs to fully focus on his sobriety and getting his life back together.

Mila is in need of protection, so she turns to her cousin, who she hasn’t seen in more than a decade, for help. He’s a member of the Dead Presidents MC. He has tasked the prospect Hound with keeping an eye on her when she leaves the club headquarters.  Can two broken people be the savior the other needs?

Good read, quick read. Some drama, some sex. I enjoyed the story, I enjoyed the characters, good addition to this great series. 4 stars

Petra and Rhino

The Kings rescued some women from another MC. Now they are protecting them. Rhino has Petra or Pet to protect and he takes his job seriously. She's a bit shy. She doesn't make friends easily and she doesn't depend on anyone. It doesn't mean she's blind and isn't attracted to the hot guy who is always around.

Rhino is serious about taking care of the woman who calls to him. He's sweet and gentle with her, unlike what might be expected, even though he knows she's not ready for what he'd like their time to be. Besides watching out for his Pet there is danger from the other MC. The club has to deal with the danger and threats that are causing pain.

I loved the two of them together. Their relationship was touching and different than many. Watching Petra grow and come out of herself was a pleasure as well. I loved the book all but one part which every reader will recognize when they get there. I have a bit of a bone to pick with Ms. Travers. It is well written but it........

HOLY HELL WOMAN!! How could you?!? UGGG!!

If you have not read books 1 & 2 in this series DO NOT CONTINUE!!

If you have read the first two books, then you know that Petra was rescued with Kimber from the Rolling Devils and since she had no family the Kings of Vengeance took her in to protect her. Rhino is the brother assigned to keeping an eye on her. When two people spend that much time together, things are bound to happen especially when things keep happening to Petra and she needs Rhino ever closer to keep her safe and hold her while she processes it all. I will warn you, this book ends on a steep cliff that I am not happy about, but I have faith that things will work out in the next book and I’m excited to see where it goes.  4.5 stars 3 hands down the pants.
