After an accident and my girlfriend leaving, I didn’t think I’d find anyone to share my life with. Sure, I had my brother and the club, and I never thought I wanted anything more. That was until Claire walked into my life. She had a harrowing story behind her, and it forced my protective instincts forward, and they raged at full force. I simply had to get past the walls she’d built so tightly around her.

Some say amnesia is a new start, which is true. But what happens when you wake up one day and everything’s a blank. Let me tell you, it’s not fun but more like downright scary.
That was my life now. Sure, I’d made a family and new memories with Monique and the triplets, but when Monique reunited with Derrick, he came with a whole new family. Hulk was the Sergeant at Arms for the club and the man who would steal my heart. Unbeknownst to me, the man who had hurt me previously was closing in, and he wanted to finish what he’d started.
Will Hulk be able to save Claire from a madman, or will he be too late to have his angel with him forever?
She's shy. A beautiful dancer. Has no memory from before she was found beaten almost to death several years earlier. The Prez's woman had befriended and hired her as a nanny to her children. When Hulk saw her he was a goner.
He'd not been attracted to a woman since his severe accident when his girlfriend had deserted him. Yet this woman made him respond again. They took it slow. She wasn't ready for a lot, yet he made her feel safe and warm in a way she hadn't in her memory. She didn't remember her attack or attacker but she did have nightmares about black eyes above her.
I enjoyed the story and the MC club is a good one. Not too bad but don't threaten their own. You won't like the result. There is a silent bad guy (he/she). A silent good guy(?) or is he/she. The entire club and the security team, a bunch of ex-military men, who work for Monique, all come together to include protecting Claire. I love how good Hulk, the big guy who matches his club name, treats her and comes back himself.
While I enjoyed knowing the back story I would have preferred a better transition to tell us about the club brothers. I thoroughly enjoyed book one and two and am anxious to read the next.
I loved Hulk and Claire, you could tell Hulk just wanted to help and support her.
There was some shockers in this story, but it was so worth it.
I can't wait for more.
