J A Hensley has written an amazing book in Stronger With Him. It has everything in it from undercover cops to a psycho drug lord, but most of all a love story that is flows throughout.

You have Becca a psychology grad student who tries to get away from Ron her ex-boyfriend who is really a psycho drug lord and human trafficker. Then there is Colin the gorgeous under cover cop who is Becca neighbour tracking Ron.

Neither Colin or Becca expected to fall in love, right from the first time they meet there where sparks but Colin has never let a women come in the way of his job until Becca.


This book had me gripped from the start, the story had you want to know more and follow the leads right to the end, at times you where ready to kill someone so that no one would get hurt. The love story that intertwined with the suspense was sizzling and hot and you just melted away with the romance in it. As you get closer to the end you became worried and hope all would turnout for the lovers.


I really loved this book and can't wait to see what else J A Hensley has installed for the future. I would recommend this book for anyone who love a romantic thriller.
I gave this book 5 stars.

Affliction is Holly and Sy’s story. Sy is a hard, cold man throughout Incandescent, but deep down I knew he had his reasons for the way he acts. Let me just say, those reasons had my eyes leaking on a few occasions. I don’t like to cry, so when an author can bring tears to my baby blues, you know the story has been written in a way that makes me feel what the character’s are feeling and experiencing what they are going through. We know from Incandescent that Holly had a rough time; well this book brings you right into her ever darkening world. She struggles with her feelings for Sy, her feelings about what happened to her, and her feelings about letting Sy in on what happened. This book has moments when I thought Holly was going to break to the point of no repair.

“Sexy biker daddy and the naughty school teacher played freaky in class”

What I loved most about this book is that it happens at the same time as Incandescent and continues Kadence and Nix’s story. I also love the dual points of view. It makes a story more complete for me to see it through the eyes of both characters. Without Sy’s point of view, I wouldn’t understand his behavior the way I do now! Sy is a sexy, dominant man, so this book is H-O-T!

“He is intimidating; I’ll give him that, but the tattoos, the darkness, and the mystery. . . who wouldn’t put up a decent fight?”

Besides giving the reader Holly and Sy’s story and filling in more of Kadence and Nix’s story, it also does a great job setting up the story line for the next book, Jesse’s story. The reader also gets to know some of the other brothers a little more, like Beau and Brooks. This book was heartbreaking, heartwarming, drama laden, sexy and satisfying. Great job Ms. Savage, I give Affliction 5 stars and 4 hands down the pants. I can’t wait for Jesse’s story to arrive.

“Your club?” I ask, raising my brow. “Last time I checked, I came here with my best friend, not to see you, so if you’ll excuse me,” I say, trying to push off the wall, but he steps right in, his knee coming between my legs.

“You gonna fuck him?” he growls, his eyes growing angrier by the second.

“Maybe,” I tell him, knowing he’s talking about Jesse. “I wonder if he will leave me standing naked after a quick fuck up against the wall,” I continue. His hold on me gets tighter. I know I shouldn’t tease him with my words, but he’s seriously delusional if he thinks he has any claim over me.

“Jeez, get over yourself, Sy. Jesse was just showing me around the place. And if I decide I want to have sex with him, or anyone else for that matter, I’ll do what I want. You don’t fucking own me. You had me, fine, but it was mediocre at best, so keep your hands off me,” I snap, trying to get out of his hold.

“Mediocre?” he repeats back to me. I’m so pissed at his attitude I don’t falter in repeating it.

“At best.”

“Didn’t feel like that when your cunt was gripping my cock like a vice,” he throws back, his words causing my pussy to throb.

“That’s called pelvic floor muscle exercises,” I say, ignoring my body’s response to having him so close.

“Right,” he whispers, leaning further into me, “and what about when I dragged my tongue through that sweet pussy of yours, and lapped up your juices dripping from you?” he questions. I nodded and swallowed hard. “I want to go back to the room. I made a horrible mistake.”
Haylie turned to me. “What’s got you so spooked?”
I blurted out, rather loudly, “That man who had been messaging me said he saw I was here and that he was going to come. He wants to see me. I mean, I was wrong, so wrong to be polite to someone, but I told him I was married. I used shouty caps and everything. Just please, take me to the room and let me lock myself in. I don’t want to ruin your good time but I don’t want to die either.”
“We won’t walk you up but I know someone who will.” Marley winked.

Author Haylie Harbour:


Haylie contributes the person she is today to the tragic circumstances she faced as a child. She learned at a very young age that life can throw you a curveball at any moment.

Her motto’s are; “No matter how bad your life may be, someone else has it worse,” and “Strength, it’s what gets us through the day.”

When she needed an escape she found it through books. She began reading very young and as she got older her taste in books changed from sweet and innocent to a little more risqué.

If you saw her today you would probably see her with a book in hand (the dirtier the better). She is an avid reader of anything smut. You name it she’s probably read it. In more recent years she has acquired a taste for the darker side. She most enjoys it when an author pushes her limits.

She loves the friends she has bonded with through reading and loves lending a helping hand to those in need.

Victoria is a happily married mother of two. Nothing brings her greater joy than spending time with her family. Hearing her children laugh is music to her ears. She loves to put on country music and dance around the house with the girls while cleaning, cooking and doing everyday tasks that may seem boring, and mundane to others.

She is often found outside by the pool reading while her girls swim. Talking to Haylie and Marley on the phone and online or attending their bi- monthly "book club"meeting is her adult time. Marley Roberts is a free spirited, book junky who loves the male form. The harder the better.

Born and raised on a farm in Woodstock NY with her father(s), mother, sister, extended family of vagabond, pot smoking, hippy, peace lovers, Marley ran as fast as she could seeking normal at-- COLLEGE??????

What she found was a respite from being judged by small minded asshats, hot ass boys who knew nothing of her past, and two of the best friends a girl could ask for.

Today she spends her day in her penthouse apartment she shares with Haylie. That also serves as Boyfriend Bookstand HEADquarters * wink * reading, hanging out online, and finding new toys (plastic and those of attached to hot, delicious males) to play with and share with her present and future author friends.
