Bold and brash, Eva MacAteer has spent her life working in her blue-collar family’s construction business. In doing so, she’s had to fight for her own place away from her overbearing father, as well as for her own identity as a woman. Struggling between her loyalty to her brothers and her desire to strike out to be her own person, Eva knows one thing for certain: getting involved with a womanizer, no matter how hot he may be, is not the path for her.

Stud is not one to be tied down to any woman. Fiercely loyal to the club and his single ways, the last thing he expects is to become fascinated by the fiery Eva. He sees his own life reflected in hers and is not quite sure how to handle the connection.

Can two mismatched people find enough common ground to overcome their fears and allow love to grow?

Eva and her 5 brothers have been raised by their single father. He runs a construction business and all the children work there. Eva is strong, capable and a hard worker. Excuses were never tolerated, work through the pain, no time to be sick.

Stud is just that, he is the Stud of the MC, women fawning all over him. Eva comes walking into the MC and throws him for a loop.

Really enjoyed this story. The back story for both characters is a little emotional, but good. Can’t wait for the next installment. 4.5 stars

I loved how this is different, the woman is not the conventional type. This book hooked me from first page. M.L Nystrom did amazing work writing this amazing story.

I loved Stud, he maybe a womaniser, but he treats women right. He is protective, and determined.

I loved Eva, she is tough, hard worker and independent. She loves her family, and her job. But she has bigger aspirations.

I loved this story, and recommend it. I can't wait for more. wtmo
Who would have thought Stud would be attracted to the Amazon Eva. She sure wasn't the dainty femmy women he usually found. He liked women. He liked to take them to bed or wherever was handy. He'd fight to protect one if he needed to. Sure didn't expect to fall for one who could fight -literally - her own battles. With an Irish father and five brothers, working alongside them in their family construction company, she was not his norm.

Eva could hold her own with the guys. With any guy who started something, and often did. Yet there was a side of her she hid from her family and the world. A more feminine side no one knew about. She sure wasn't into more men in her life. And not the Romeo of the MC club they were working for on their current project.

Stud didn't know why he couldn't seem to stay away. Maybe she could be his first female friend. Or Maybe not.

Watching them learn about each other, their other sides being revealed, and the battle with her family was a reading experience you don't want to miss. I thoroughly enjoyed this different MC read with a uniquely strong woman learning about the other side of herself.

I've had stories in my head since I was a child.  All sorts of stories of fantasy, romance, mystery and anything else that captured my interest.  I'm a voracious reader, and have spent many hours in my life devouring books, therefore it's only fitting I should write a few myself!

I've spent most of my life as a performing musician and band instrument repair technician, but that doesn't mean I'm pigeon-holed into one mold.  I've been a university professor, belly dancer, craftsperson, soap maker, singer, rock band artist, jewelry maker, lifeguard, swim coach, and whatever else I feel like exploring.  As one of my students said to me once, "Life's too short to ignore the opportunities."   I have no intention of ever stopping so welcome to my story world.  I hope you enjoy it!
