hasn’t had an easy life. Raised by alcoholics, he took responsibility for his
younger half-sister, but only being a kid himself he wasn’t quit able to
protect her from the bad in life. On one such quest, he comes face to face with
the unexpected. After many years in jail, he is ready to take back what he
lost.
First, I have to say that
even though this book is labeled a standalone, I HIGHLY recommend reading Cam
and Christina’s story first (Wrapped Around him, For Life and His Crime).
Although not technically necessary, reading this book first will ruin the other
three. That being said, I have loved Merk since For Life. His actions may not
have been favorable, but his heart was sincere and for a bad boy, he’s a good
guy. In true Debra Kayn style, this book is raw, gritty, sexy and feels darn
real. I loved this book and cannot wait to read about Jacko next. I give this
book 5 stars!
