Bobby and Jessica (Doc)
meet six years ago when she turned to the MC to help her escape a hellish relationship
in return for her medical services. After everything she went through with her
husband, Jessica had made one rule; don’t fall in love ever again. Bobby is
pretty sure he fell the first time he saw her.
I enjoyed this book very
much. Bobby and Jessica are not new; they have been in all of the Devil’s Dust
books. I enjoyed getting to know them better through their story. I always
thought Bobby was a good guy, and this book just confirms it. This book
contains drama and suspense, hot sex and heartache. The scenarios that bring
these elements to the story are not different from many other stories I’ve read
and that is always a plus. This book also laid the foundation for a new couple,
Lip and Cherry and man, oh man does it look like it will be interesting. I feel
there is more to Bobby and Jessica’s story, one can only hope! I give this book
4.5 stars with 3 hands down the pants and look forward to the next book!
